I think Plugin Boutique's own Radio plugin is on sale for $9. Tune to a random (or not) internet radio station and pipe the output into Glitchmachine's Cryogen or other destruction effect and endless sound design happens.paolostylo wrote: Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:21 pm Hi,

Any tips regarding the cheapest plugins at Plugin Boutique?

Probably the cheapest way to get a freebie.

Also if you have one of those Plugin Boutique 'Token' thingies you can cash it in for 50% discount on the Lifeline Expanse Lite plugin by Excite Audio, and since it's already on sale that makes it $14.50 (RRP $39).

The discount was 20% for 1 token for me (nice plug anyway not using, it grabs a lot of CPU compared to other similar effects, maybe in a future update when they will render a better algorithm for a less instensive CPU usage) , but from when on sale it's not available, should be it is targeted for each user.MogwaiBoy wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 10:37 am Also if you have one of those Plugin Boutique 'Token' thingies you can cash it in for 50% discount on the Lifeline Expanse Lite plugin by Excite Audio, and since it's already on sale that makes it $14.50 (RRP $39).

If you’re logged in to a PB account you can go to ‘My Rewards’ and there are offers that people can get by spending a PB token. The current 20% discount is there for everyone, but a reward is 50% off that plugin if you spend a token.mr_pitch33 wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 11:25 amThe discount was 20% for 1 token for me (nice plug anyway not using, it grabs a lot of CPU compared to other similar effects, maybe in a future update when they will render a better algorithm for a less instensive CPU usage) , but from when on sale it's not available, should be it is targeted for each user.MogwaiBoy wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 10:37 am Also if you have one of those Plugin Boutique 'Token' thingies you can cash it in for 50% discount on the Lifeline Expanse Lite plugin by Excite Audio, and since it's already on sale that makes it $14.50 (RRP $39).

Yes, it is in the section " Reward+ --> Coupon Codes " but I can't actually see 50% coupon for 1 token for Excite Audio Lite because I already have it.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 11:50 amIf you’re logged in to a PB account you can go to ‘My Rewards’ and there are offers that people can get by spending a PB token. Anyway in this case I don't know if the 50% discount is applicable to an already discounted product as their policy (and their system) doesn't allow to add coupons to discounted vst.

It seems PB never has any coupons or sample packs that interest me so I just covert tokens to cash value.

I used to do that, then I had a couple of cases where something I wanted was heavily discounted if using a token, so I always keep at least one in the kitty.Gribs wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 3:30 pm It seems PB never has any coupons or sample packs that interest me so I just covert tokens to cash value.

For the NI Komplete holiday update sales. It looks like my upgrade for Komplete Ultimate is $269. If my math is right that’s 33% off the normal $399. Were the past 50 percent off sales on updates typically at the end of the year or in the Summer?

Yes, it came as a surprise and it is the first time ever they are having "up to" 50% sale. Until now it has been 50% off flat for everything, be it a summer sale or winter sale. (Glad I grabbed my K13U CE update for 50% off during the previous sale.)Drogers wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 6:31 pm For the NI Komplete holiday update sales. Yeah. There was also a bug on their website where the advertised upgrade price was not the sale price but if you added it to your cart it showed the sale price. I had a surprisingly rapid turn-around chat with a support person using their online chat widget yesterday afternoon. I caved. It was time.Drogers wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 6:31 pm For the NI Komplete holiday update sales. It looks like my upgrade for Komplete Ultimate is $269. I put off buying or building a new PC for another year, which was my intended holiday season major expense.

yes that is quite remarkable, or their upgrade prices are going up, or it does not fall under black friday, they had 50% sales indeed, if i remember correctly.Drogers wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 6:31 pm For the NI Komplete holiday update sales. i don't follow it that much anymore, or don't remember it that well, with ultimate 11 + komplete 13, i am comfortable..
indeed there was a sale this summer, 50%, a bit strange. on the komplete updates/upgrades.

Besides the other BF wishes I had earlier, I also was hoping for a deal for upgrades to Cubase 11.

that is good question, funny how you start a answer with this....Examigan wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 7:31 pm Besides the other BF wishes I had earlier, I also was hoping for a deal for upgrades to Cubase 11.
because 11.5 would be now out, there is never, me think, a BF sale.
and 11.5 will be skipped. in a way, they could handle that better. announced it earlier.
so the situation is different now, perhaps, but i don't expect, there will be a BF sale for upgrades for cubase, but the grace period has already started...
so only speculation at this moment.
