It looks like a very nice synth. I also don't need it and it does not appear to offer something very different than the products under which I am buried already. I keep putting products I don't need into carts and taking them out again.chk071 wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:39 pm"Very tempting!" says the plug-aholic in me. I am in similar position re things go in and then come out of carts. I have become pretty good at asking myself if I cannot achieve the result with some other plugins I already have. I do not need any other sound sources, reverbs, delays, distortions and so on.
Exceptions are more high end stuff, like if Zynaptiq ever release their vocoder I will get that but until then I am not getting a simpler vocoder just to make do.
If anything I want to get rid of a lot of stuff but selling licenses is pretty tough now to the point where I am thinking it is not worth bothering and just accepting the loss and uninstalling what I no longer want
If it were possible I would sell at least half my Kontakt libraries but the ones I want to get rid of are inevitably ones that cannot be transferred

It has become increasingly difficult here over the last 5 years or so. Before that, people were thankful to get stuff second hand for 60% of the original price, now, the few people who show interest often want to lowball you when you offer stuff for 40% of the original price...fairlyclose wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 9:34 pm If anything I want to get rid of a lot of stuff but selling licenses is pretty tough now to the point where I am thinking it is not worth bothering and just accepting the loss and uninstalling what I no longer want
Not that there are still decent people around who want to buy your stuff, but, as you say, it's becoming increasingly difficult. People obviously have enough money or budget to buy stuff new, and the ones who don't think they get everything for peanuts. Not cool. I think a good deal always has to be mutual.

and getting more weird timewasters who send a PM - "is "X" still available?" I say yes and here is how to pay and you never hear from them again. Like, what is that about?chk071 wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 10:03 pmIt has become increasingly difficult here over the last 5 years or so. You got it wrong. We wanted to give, not get a Fabfilter code.
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

I did a quick google search and saw some of their stuff was on BF sale a year or two ago, so hoping Kelvin is this year too!NinjaToon wrote: Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:31 pm Do tone projects do BF? Thinking about Kelvin.
When do Goodhertz to their discounts, now or Christmas? Wonder if Tupe will get a cut. Probably not.
So far this year has been pretty lacklustre. That cableguys sale is yikes...
If it isn’t, I’m just getting it anyway, it’s that good.
Well, I’ll get it once my account recovers from everything else on my list that does go on sale getting picked up

Now Spire is on sale for $99 ($94 at Pluginboutique). I think that is the lowest I have seen it. In the past it always went on sale for something like $129. JRRShop coupon codes don’t work, but you do get an extra $4.69 in PB virtual cash and 2.7 tokens which are worth about $4.50 if you turn them in for virtual cash. So the price at PB is effectively about $85.
Still, it is another “don’t need, don’t want” thing so I am passing.

Taken me a long time to get the requisite mindset, but workflow improvements will be ofmost benefit to me now

Can you share any links for Blackmagic stuff for BF or other discounts? Thanks.fairlyclose wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 6:13 am congratsI just bought something I have been wanting and was on the lookout for: Davinci Resolve Studio with their Speed Editor hardware tossed in for free. Love Resolve for video editing and I am doing much much more video. Two more items for this BF - a GoPro and a surface go3. That liberates my desktop from anything other than media production and gets me an underwater and time lapse/motion detection camera/action camera.
