Indeed, you can also try this with a lot of delays.Dalle wrote: Fri Nov 05, 2021 8:15 pm Valhalla Delay. It’s a delay but also does beautiful reverbs wih the diffusion. It has multiple modes and each has it’s own flavor of distortion and lofi grunge. Tape distortion, frequency shifting, bitcrushy pitch shifting, etc...

Goodhertz makes 2 weird contenders:
MegaVerb is great for '80s inspired dirty gated, inverse, and other oddly-shaped reverbs. The gate/ducker is the (not-so) secret weapon on this, incredibly versatile.
Lossy is mostly a bit-crusher/lossy encoder emulator with a simple reverb that really extends its range.
Also Unfiltered Audio Byome and Triad (single and multi-band semi-modular multi FX) let you roll your own processing chains very easily.

you should start a thread, and list them all.psynical wrote: Sun Nov 07, 2021 7:13 am sweet. Another plugin list thread that's exactly like the 4248 other ones that came before it!

A list your favorite "list your favorite plugins thread" thread might actually be kind of useful. But if someone else has already done that before, we'll start hearing complaints about that too.

then we list the lists of lists.cthonophonic wrote: Sun Nov 07, 2021 5:06 pm A list your favorite "list your favorite plugins thread" thread might actually be kind of useful. But if someone else has already done that before, we'll start hearing complaints about that too.

There are some good suggestions here, but I think that this is a bit of a gap in the plugin market. We have a thousand options for high-quality character delay plug-in algorithms, but not so many for reverb. Yes, it's possible to use diffusion on a delay to make reverb sounds. But it would be great to see dedicated reverb plug-ins that can cover some of the sonic territory of boutique pedals from Strymon, Walrus Audio, and others.

Reverberate 3. Make your own IR out of an arp or ostinato or whatever but reverse it.
Play again and then see what happens.
