Softube put the British Class A on sale for 50% off with an additional 10% code (BLACKWEEKEXTRA). I was hoping for that because of the compatibility with Modular. Now I am just waiting for Fabfilter. I still haven't got around to grabbing the demo for Volcano 3, though... too many new plugins to explore and swiftly losing interest in buying right now due to "saturation"

OTOH Silo is cheaper than Dust even at their relative sale prices (and generally has fewer bugs).

Bringing things to a circle, the post I replied to originally was complaining about folk expecting deep discounts "people were thankful to get stuff second hand for 60% of the original price", but the first thing someone can do is search for the manufacturer here and to pick the example of Soundmorph, they'd see that their stuff goes for 50% off a couple of times over the last few years, so it's not surprising that that becomes the benchmark according to which they expect discounts.

Dust had some bugs early on but has been solid for a long time now. Silo is fine, but only at that cheaper sale price.
My point re pricing now is that even if lower then any sale secondhand does not seem to be as popular. Not sure why but it could be that people prefer buying from devs or resellers for security, knowing that most everything gets discounted so it is just a matter of patience. And maybe other sites are now competing for license transfers. Whatever the reason, kvr is not as good for selling as it used to be.
