Which Host? – right now (poll)

yep after this damneable rcording thing - see you dont need to record anything to make music - just a bunch of well shaped rocks

and then stereo - doesnt help music in the slightest
really what is the point ?

try making music using a uad or powercore without pdc - hours of fun adjusting sample delay sliders - a real pick me up during the creative process

We all have our favoured hosts – but this poll is not for the favourite - it is about the host you pull up most to get the job done.

It’s to see what the balance is like at K-v-R at this time now.

The list is a mix of audio heavy (mainly effect hosts) or virtual instrument heavy hosts and a blur between the two.

I have chosen the main brand name – though sub classes may exist under or above it

The poll will run for five days - covers the weekend and next week, so it remains like a time stamp of current use. maybe run another poll in six months to see how things pan out if at all.

Just a reminder post, I will be adding a similar post to each page as they come up, so everyone gets to read it. This is for the host you pull up most to get the job done.

I have left out some hosts from the list and have been kindly reminded – but I cannot edit the poll list now that the vote has started – the vote runs for five days whereby after that it will be frozen to represent a snapshot of current use in the hosts used to get a job done.

If you have a host that is not listed – please select Other and make a post indicating your vote. (if you post more than one host, the first will be counted, if its in the poll list in wont act like another vote)

At the end of the poll I will run through the threads and add up the votes for the hosts that were not in the poll list. So far votes for a lot of Logic, plus Live, Bidule, Buzz and MiniHost etc have been posted as part of the ‘Other’ listings.

I do, but interested in what others used as the main tool. what with eXt, the recent give away, later updates - the vote could have been anything - its cool to see how its turning out though, keeping in mind most company forums have the K-v-R link to the vote now.

I'm using Sonar 4.0 Producer.... and have been working with Sonar since it's inception...

Tho I've tried working with many of the others, I always return to Sonar (CWPA before that) as it does everything and easier/better than the rest of the crowd....

Now if I could only figure out how to place my vote here?!?
