Which Host? – right now (poll)

Next you must start another poll about "How many never bothered to use another host."

I have tried demos of a few others and own one other host mainly because of the great synths that come with it, but always stick to the old and trusted Sonar.

I just got the free Traction - was gonna try the demo anyway - but I don't think it will replace Logic entirely - yet.

Tonight I'm gonna DL the Live demo just to see what all the fuss is about.

Just a reminder post, I will be adding a similar post to each page as they come up (that will teach me to miss out hosts ), so everyone gets to read it. This is for the host you pull up most to get the job done.

I have left out some hosts from the list and have been kindly reminded – but I cannot edit the poll list now that the vote has started – the vote runs for five days whereby after that it will be frozen to represent a snapshot of current use in the hosts used to get a job done.

If you have a host that is not listed – please select Other and make a post indicating your vote. (if you post more than one host, the first will be counted, if its in the poll list in wont act like another vote)

At the end of the poll I will run through the threads and add up the votes for the hosts that were not in the poll list. So far votes for a lot of Logic, plus Live, Bidule, Buzz and MiniHost etc. have been posted as part of the ‘Other’ listings.

And I'm not talking "blue unicorn" (hopefully that won't go over everyone's head). I've definitely had my stab at other hosts for creating music and I've personally been able to get much more accomplished in Acid than anything else. I just don't have the time or attention span to use some convoluted program. I've been able to push Acid to the limit and squeeze just about every drop out of it making 2 albums, several remixes, and plenty of tracks for TV and even a movie trailer. Then again, I don't use Acid just for looping stuff. It's my tracker mostly.

I'll go with Logic BTW, but Live 4 is a strong #2. So neither of the hosts I use are on the list,
but these are? Not that any of them are bad mind you, it's just that I've never heard of half of them.
