@syntonica have you hada look at the new strumming/guitar features built into Scaler 2.5? I'm not sure if it's totally what you want, but might be worth looking into.

Scaler 2.5 is pretty capable in that regard. I downloaded a couple days ago and only briefly explored it so have not explored in any depth yet.

Bitwig's new Strum device can strum up or down and you can do some basic patterns like up - up - down. There are 4 steps and each can be set to up or down.

I tried to check it out, but no demo that I could see, so that's a no-go for me.

But what I'm looking for is the chord voicing, as given by the guitar fingering, such as the standard C chord gives you (E)-C-E-G-C-E and the standard Em gives you E-B-E-G-B-E.

The newest version does a better job at showing fretboard diagrams for chords. Unfortunately it only shows first position fingerings. I asked about that and they said it's still a new feature, so I expect they will be expanding it more, hopefully to multiple fret positions.

The trial can be downloaded from Plugin Boutique, and it seems to say it is version 2.5 from the filenane.
"Trial Version Duration: 30 Days
Trial Version Notes: Scaler 2 will play a couple of seconds of noise from time to time. Activate Scaler 2 with a Key File purchased from Plugin Boutique"

The noise every minute or two is annoying though.

I just wish they had an update to their (officially acknowledged) plugin window display issue. I keep an 8-track version up-to-date just to check, but so far...

The f*g thing that the mouse pointer changes to whatever is underneath the plugin window.
It only happens when Bitwig is used fullscreen on MacOS.

I always use it full screen. It never happens to me. At least on Windows.

I've reported it, they acknowledged it, but it seems to be too much work to fix it because of the whole plugin framework or whatever.
I would drop Logic in an instant and get a new license if that was fixed.

I bought this Mac about a year ago. That was when I reported and they acknowledged that they knew there was a problem. They just considered it to be minor and not worth the trouble and I admit it probably being, but still
