The release of U-he Zebra 3?

Any idea when they’ll release zebra 3?
I’ve been searching for answers but i didn’t know where to catch any information until i’ve discovered that U-he has his own category post, so i decided to ask here.
Any rumours or information?

Urs has said they will start working on it seriously after Ubhik 2. I wouldn't count on it releasing before 2023.

2023 would be naively optimistic för Zebra3, now it's starting to look like Uhbik2 is for early summer 2023.

EDIT: early summer 2022, so if Zebra3 were to be 2023 it would be black friday-christmas IMO.

Are you sure you didn't mean to say Uhbik for early summer 2022? Remember, it's still 2021. An early summer Uhbik release would be summer 2022, not 2023. That would still give them 7-8 months to squash any bugs and do the release dance.

Now, I don't know where Filterscape and MFM2 updates fall in the timeline. Could be after Uhbik2 and before Zebra, and who knows how long those will take. I'd personally wish Zebra3 is first, but I suspect Urs wants to get these old plugins up to new standards. So that could take us through the rest of 2022 into early 2023.

Which means Z3 in 2023 doesn't seem impossible at all.

There was a superbooth video where MFM2 seemed quite advanced.

I think Urs mentioned somewhere they were planning on a December beta release. Not sure where I read/heard that though.

There must be a reason why U-He has been giving priority to other stuff. Maybe they were waiting for a new GUI framework, or some DSP code wasn't ready for Zebra 3, who knows. Maybe the improvements from Ubhik 2 will make into Zebra 3.
