Setup tracktion in Linux Mint

I am having an issue setting up Tracktion WaveForm 11 PROPERLY.
I am using Linux Mint 20.2 (latest version Dec 2021) with a
Steinberg UR242 which is a 24 bit 192 kbps USB audio interface
Speakers are a 2.1 system connected to the output of the UR242

In WF11 AUDIO DEVICES:
I have Audio Device set up to ALSA (JACK will not give me any input/output options)
for OUTPUT, WF11 defaults to "Playback/Recording through the PulseAudio sound server
Same for the input.
Pulse audio is the software running the internal sound card in my MoBo.
It is my understanding that the AUDIO INTERFACE (UR242) is an external sound card and it should be the preferred sound source to avoid audio artefacts due to interference.

THE PROBLEM:
If I use the PulseAudio server internal card, everything works as advertised, but if i chose any of the options that involve the Steinberg, videos in YouTube won't load under certain selections, and under others the sound will be slowed and under others there will be no sound.
Also, the CHIME to test the sound is normal under the PulseAudio options but distorted under the steinberg options.
I am neither a PRO nor a very experienced user. I do this for kicks and giggles whenever i have time and YouTube helps me navigate questions in the recording process.
I presently have it set at UR242 Audio front speakers for output
and UR242 USN Stream Output for input. The test tone is pristine but there is no audio from youtube.

Any guidance would be very appreciated.

hi, download from packages cadence and setting your audio card and bridge pulse audio---jack synk. You must download from package pulseaudio-jack sync for used in the contemporaney youtube o browser and player music ( for audio) and jack audio for uses with tour usb audio card steinberg ur 242.
