One of my tracks from this EP https://j1s1.bandcamp.com/
Made with XILS 4 in standalone by adding one layer at a time on top of some Drums/Percussion which I made with TAL-Sampler.

KeyStep and Savi-Host again?
I think "Stick" has a similar vibe to some of the music on "Following a Leaf", with its combination of pads and delayed synths, underpinned by the glitched percussion and the soft, but upfront bass.
It's a pleasant combination.
Good work

Thanks for stopping by and listening Tim . And you are absolutely right about these tracks being "somewhat" similar.
I keep them raw and unpolished by staying away from my D.A.W and that makes it more easy for me to finish something I can upload.
It is very liberating not to have all those tools a D.A.W gives us and it also force me to work in a different way.
Cheers

Interesting track: the percussive background is unusual, it reminds
of hectic craftsmen. The synthesizers - the XILS layers - add a
somewhat pomad-like, relaxed superstructure.
It sounds as if astronaut Jackson explores the flora and fauna on
the planet Aldebaran-III - and thus packs this and that gem into
his Explorer suitcase.
Well done track, wonderful!
