It would be really helpful in some situations to know the frequency the display is locked on. And to save the need of pulling up a calculator, show the elapsed time of one cycle as well. And if we go that far, finally also show the MIDI note +/- cents offset corresponding to the displayed frequency.

I'll check, no promises, way too much work.

I was thinking about this a little more and had a thought: keep track of consecutive wave shape captures and wait until some required number of equal-length waveforms is encountered before bothering to display the frequency information. No sense in thrashing about if all we're seeing in the display is chaotic movement.

No worries, already done ;). Turns out it uses a high accuracy detector anyways.

Which in my experience, is Meldaese for "look for it in the next release."

Hehe and then people get used to it and start being angry when I say "no" to something  :ud:

Great feature! Please make it like Cable guys or LFOTool. A snap shot of the waveform, frozen on the screen, until the next input. Allow different host synced timing windows, like 1/8, 1/4, 1, 2, ... etc. This is super useful for capturing/inspecting percussive and drum hits. Avoids having to render and zoom.
