Hi all am new here.
With quality on low the minimum size looks to be 2048 samples.
I think that truncating the IR will have a bad impact.
Anyone got a good suggestion please?
Cheer
Cris
Is it possible to create an IR of just 512 samples in MFreeformEqualizer? 2048 looks to be the smallest

Hi, no I'm afraid, 2048 is already quite small. Well, you could change the sampling rate to 11kHz, if your DAW supports and do it there
, then it would be 512. But it would be exactly what it looks - very inaccurate. Truncating would change the actually shape. If you need to do that, do it at least with minimum phase enabled.

Thanks so much for a reply. It is a shame since most guitar effects pedals seem to be using 512 samples at 44.1 khz. Are you saying it is impossible or that the software is just not configured to do it by design?
I read that 512 samples is actually good enough for guitars.
Thanks
Cris

It's by design. 512 samples is just kinda short and IR export in this plugin is not exactly the "main action". Anyways try minimum phase and then trim it, hopefully it will work well enough.
