Waveform "On The Fly" Recording while in Loop Mode

Hi!
On every single DAW I tried, I just hit record while a song (or better song idea at this point) is looping and then the DAW starts recording at the moment I hit record without stopping or interrupting the loop.

I just can't figure out how to do that in Waveform. The moment I hit record the loop always jumps to the left locator before it starts recording.

Although it was rather inexpensive, I'm actually on the verge of asking for a refund. It's frustrating if that's the way it just is, and kind of unusable for the way I like to work.
Otherwise I actually really like it.

You can arm/disarm the track while it's recording.
