and there is a really strange design choice when saving presets. I say design choice because I reported it as a bug to PA and was told it was supposed to lose all your tags when you resave a presets!! lol

I would call this a design bug. No doubt possible that this is a bug! It simply doesn’t make any sense, it prevents just tweaking sounds…

But it’s similar in many PA products, isn’t it ?

This synth is actually pretty incredible and tremendously under hyped. Very good for high quality modern sounds. However, I really want there to be two filter modules, with the option to place them in serial or parallel and direct each oscillator to one of the filters. That would make the synth complete.

I’m currently considering buying Lion, but stuff like this doesn’t fill me with confidence, tbh. It’s been almost a year, and a M1 native version is still nowhere to be seen? What happened?

Does Lion at least work reliably with Rosetta on Monterey? It’s described as „Intel CPU only“ over at PA.

Hi all

Completing a fresh install and noticed Lion (and all other unfiltered plugins) are missing the presets on windows in cubase vst3 and vst2

Can see a list of internal and external presets on the PA website and the locations to install on.

It refers to locations for windows
Windows
Internal Presets:
Program Files\Plugin Alliance\
External Presets:
VST3
User\Documents\VST3 Presets\Plugin Alliance\
It also refrers to an import function something I cant locate on Lions GUI.

Furthermore when opening the presets location in Lion it takes me to:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\VST3 Presets\Plugin Alliance
which is empty and no lion folder.
Further checks I find a folder with again no presets
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\UnfilteredAudio\LION\Presets
which is empty.

In short anyone help me with vst2 and vst3 presets where to source and locate them
