I think we can count on the same time frames that the last big transitions happened for NI in, roughly twice as long as the average.E_Anderson wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 5:41 amIf Kontakt is anything to go by, check back in 2024-26. Not to derail the thread - and I'm not disagreeing with you - just saying that Kontakt is a way trickier thing to maintain and update compared with MX. MassiveX is quite new. Kontakt is like what... 20 years old now? I'm sure trying to update it without breaking backward compatibility is effing hell.E_Anderson wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 5:41 amIf Kontakt is anything to go by, check back in 2024-26. Yeah it's been mentioned here multiple times that NI just sat on their laurels and accumulated a huge software debt in a 15+ year old GUI framework that was tweaked or completely different for various plug ins. That's without mentioning the face that Kontakt allows content developers to design GUI's using jpgs etc. How are those going to work in M1 Macs or VST3 or resizable GUI's?DrGonzo wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:03 amNot to derail the thread - and I'm not disagreeing with you - just saying that Kontakt is a way trickier thing to maintain and update compared with MX. Maybe like Waves did it with their latest framework update? By ... eh... just stretching the UI?machinesworking wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:20 am How are those going to work in M1 Macs or VST3 or resizable GUI's?

Worst thing is that they probably have to do that, in order to maintain backward compatibility with libraries that are no longer under development. That or simply disable the old UI.machinesworking wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:55 amI can totally see them doing that!DrGonzo wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 6:30 amMaybe like Waves did it with their latest framework update? Does it say you can? As I understood it is 'oscillator' cross modulation?felis wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 3:29 pm Maybe I'm missing something, but can someone point out where you can use the engines to modulate the filters?
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

So, did anyone find the Energy Triad bundle worth it? $30 seems like a bargain as I like how Pigments sounds. Not able to find any good video so far specifically made for demonstrating these soundpacks. I heard some interesting sounds in Jef Gibbon's video but it only touched some of them.

It’s cross modulation between engines, not ´filtering’ modulation. Not sure where you saw that?

Did you watch the video? There is barely a mention of CrossMod in the Filter section, let alone showing where to find it and how to use it. It's there, but it's kind of hidden.
Only 5 of Pigment's 10 filters have that parameter you can see in the picture where it says "No FM". There you can select Engine 1 or 2 for modulation.

It's showing $89.99 for me--did I miss the sale, or was it a voucher you had?LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Dec 16, 2021 4:06 pm So, did anyone find the Energy Triad bundle worth it? $30 seems like a bargain as I like how Pigments sounds.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.
