I clap lap ap p my hands to this!

Great to hear that Clap finally sees the actually light of day and is in the hands of my favourite developers :-)

Kudos to Alexandre for getting it going!

I set a plugin path to the CLAP folder in Bitwig Studio 4.1.2 but it doesn't seem to show up yet...
Really looking forward to this!!!!! :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

Had given up on MFM but now will have to re-evaluate it... :-)

Cheers and thanks for what you are doing here!

Hehehe, Bitwig, u-he and others are not yet coordinating releases. We're passing internal builds back and forth, but as long as these are betas, they won't necessarily support the same version of CLAP, until it's 1.0. So yeah, it works in internal builds but not necessarily in public betas.

As for CLAP, I've made a post here, so maybe we can keep this thread for MFM :)

A safety net, an opportunity and something possibly a lot better in many ways than the status quo. Even if it never picks up, it will still be useful for us.

Also, what's not to like about an open standard which does not require a vetting process, a law degree or learning a new language to get started?
Totally agree. Good move.

Thank you so much!
Well worth the wait. Marvellous update.
So far I can only report about a really minor detail:

On Linux, I cannot use the up and down button to switch between presets in Mixbus 32C (and then probably Ardour also).
Up and down arrow switch works just fine in other daws (like Reaper and Qtractor), so it has to do with the DAW.
I wouldn't even mind reporting this if other u-he plugins acted the same way.
But I can use up and down buttons in all the other up to date u-he plugins in Mixbus 32C, so at the moment it's MFM specific.
I'd be happy if it was fixed, but it's also really just a detail.

Most of all: Thanks for the 2.5!

Alright. My brain definitely doesn't work like younger Urs' brain used to work.

I just did not get what the circles were doing. I'm very happy and confident with the new interface. A very substantial improvement which makes it a hot contender for delay lovers.

I think I mentioned it with previous updates for Zebra and the Uhbik alpha, in the past I had this issue where after skipping through presets, at some point after 30 or 40 presets. all new presets started sounding the same. I'm pretty sure that an increasing number of parameters wasn't initializing anymore. I definitely had that issue with the last official release of MFM.

Whatever you fixed and whether that was a conscious bug fix or not, every preset does sound distinctly different now, no matter how long I keep skipping through presets and I can hear what this thing is actually capable of. Was not aware and I've had my license for almost ten years now.

Oh shit, MFM is so powerful that it sucked Simon into a feedback loop.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Got it fixed. Loaded VST3 and now VST2 works, at least in Ableton.

Nice, downloaded, about to go play with it. I'm one of the probably 30 people who paid for MFM v1 when it was shareware and AU only! Love the new GUI!
