Yeah, great if you were thinking of a bigger purchase (>$100), not so great if you were hoping for a cheap upgrade (eg phasis to Mod pack). Guess that's business though, encouraging you to spend more.

This is at least the second time this thing is for free, they could have chosen something different for a giveaway. I'm not saying this isn't a good plugin, on the contrary, I actually like it a lot (mostly for brightening and adding top end "sizzle").

Gosh, this must be the worst GUI for a plugin released recently

It's a very good plugin, I was surprised how good the delay modes are (tube, tape etc).Azbest wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 11:25 am This is at least the second time this thing is for free, they could have chosen something different for a giveaway. I guess that's the landscape now though, there are plugins out there that everybody (who's inclined to) has now. This, Iris 2, UAs Sandman Pro, that NY compressor that's being given away left, right and centre (BPB, CM, free with purchases...) You can tell what's been given away recently just looking at the sell&Buy forum...

That's Apple M1 chart i think.
so it doesn't exclude possibility of Trash3, just possibility of Trash2 M1 Native.

I was about to complain as well. Then I realized that I would complain about free stuff.WasteLand wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 7:28 am who doesn't have Trash 2? so many times for free, or barely nothing. (and me like it.)

I didn't like the operation. I like more straight forward plugins.gentleclockdivider wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 1:33 am It's funny really,
I tried trash 2 when it was released and remember enjoying it but decided not to buy it .
Now playing with the free gift and it doesn't float my boat at all .
For every signal processing block in trash 2 there are far better alternatives , the serial routing can easily be replicated in your daw's mixer.
Strange how our taste in quality can change over the years .

but still, not everyone has Trash 2, that suits me well. even if i bought it.....

I know that you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth...
but...
How the mighty have fallen. Such a sad day.

I don`t know what kind of future tech some of you are using, but Trash2 is an amazing sound shaping tool, great piece of programming. Definitely unreplaceable in my arsenal.
