So is this project definitely cancelled?
So sad. There is no Cat emulation, and it's an amazing little synth....

Yeah, everything is on hold until MFM, Filterscape and Uhbik are updated, and serious progress on Zebra made.

Personally I really like the repro-1 and repro-5 pairing because there are some things you can do in repro-1 that wouldn't make sense in a polysynth (like using the waveshaper A/R in the mod matrix or using the synth envelopes to control stompbox params) but at the same time I do love having access to repro-5 for pads so a cat + voyetra combo could have a similar feel (even if that is a higher pricetag than just the cat)

I would have preferred giving my money for a C4T to u-he instead of u-be, but well, I did now because Urs has focussed on other stuff (and I totally respect that decision), so there you go. Knobs and sliders and stuff...

Hi, Urs!
I have been hunting for a plug-in hardware emulation of the Cat that will run on Intel Macistosh. I just now stumbled into this news that you began and stopped development on your emulation of the Cat. I'm a long-time fan of your software. If I could get a software version of the Cat it would be a big joy to me to have as a bonus that it was designed by you and your team.
Happy holidays,
glenesis

After my friend bought a BRO-1, compared to Repro -1, and in less than two weeks unplugged the BRO-1, I’m cool to wait until im elderly for the uhe emus. For hardware I buy new designs.

Does that include the updated Tyrell you were planning for early 2022?Urs wrote: Sat Dec 11, 2021 1:12 pm Yeah, everything is on hold until MFM, Filterscape and Uhbik are updated, and serious progress on Zebra made.
