It took at least 5 hours to show up in my account. It's a fun freebie indeed. Great for adding vintage character to samples.

I think the offer was 99Euro if you had some of the FX already, and 69Euro crossgrade if you owned the V Collection.

That's strange. I have the Plate Reverb, The Juno Chorus and the Moog Filter. But they still wanted 99 bucks.

Electronic music is most music made today. It stretches believability that you have 30,000 posts on this forum but don't think tape plugins have a use case in electronic music.

Rhetoric question. If you weren't a jerk, you would have understood that "I'm not even sure" is not the same as to say "It has no use", and you wouldn't have ignored the "Sorry for the noob question" part, which hinted on my lack of experience with this type of plugin.

Quick tip - you can "buy" this from Plugin Boutique too and have the spare Serial Numbers ready to trade in the future. I got 2 extra

It showed up in my Arturia Software Center with a button to "Activate" -- but no button to install. So it's activated on my system, but I can't figure out how to actually install the darn thing (it's not installed anywhere)....I've used ASC for all my other Arturia stuff, first time I've had this issue....

That happened to me too. Pretty sure I sorted by doing this:

Doesn't work here -- when I hover over that area, the option is to "uninstall", not "install." If I select it, nothing happens. And it's not actually installed on my system.

Anyway, the workaround is to download it directly from the Arturia website, since the ASC in some cases seems to think it's installed already when it isn't:

yes, i did that but it had a funny glitch:
instead of an expected "install" option it gave me an "un-install" option

although it was not installed

Weird, I never had that. So far, ASC always has been quite smooth, maybe I was just lucky.

Well, got mine up and running now it’s a great freebie but I did already own RC-20 and Waves Retro Fi. This plugin is great for a heavy mellotron vibe or just sprinkle a little bit of it for a warmer sound. Used it mostly on an electronic piano to test out and got great results.

Arturia pretty much delivers like Santa every Year.

I am getting a Bit worried about NI though; as Things like Raum dont seem to be in their Bag of Gifts anymore.
