I am also curious about this mod. Are there even more mods for Synplant?

It seems dead since ages. I would try to find out how its done.
I don’t own Synplant, but I demo’d it once which delivered some presets.
If you open them in a text editor, you see its in a human readable json text format.
Save some presets with single parameters changed, look for the difference and then edit the preset files in the text editor by placing values outside of the usual range… Experiment and have fun…

Okay, apparently it crashes here. Even if I change the "+3" to just "3" like the KVR.txt said. I am getting:

Invalid pre-multiplied argb: 0x00ffffff

Still trying to figure out, what's going on. No need to help, if no time is there. If it won't work, it's no biggie anyway. (-;

I copied the 2 files into the folder where the Synplant VST2 .dll file is which I hope is correct. I use Studio One (5.4.1) and Synplant (1.2.4) in Windows 10. It doesn´t crash here. I also tried it in Reaper 5.9 without any crash. Where did you copy the 2 files? Maybe I misunderstood the readme.txt?

Hey, sorry for my late reply. So: I first did copy the files next to the Synplant.dll ... but I was not sure if it did change the plugin at all. Maybe I just do not understand what exactly this mod is supposed to do?

So then I remembered that for Microtonic mods you have to copy the files into a subfolder next to the plugin DLL called something like PLUGINNAME VERSION Resources. So I did copy the files into Synplant V1.2 Resources. And then I got the crash. And I thought that my copying was right, but the mod was corrupt or something ... since with copying the files next to the dll only and no subfolder it seemed to me that it did nothing.

So in the end: how do I know if the mod worked?

I just created some new sounds with the New Random Seed function from the menu when you right click on the seed in the middle. The sounds that came up with the "Wildgrown" version of Thorns were somehow weirder or "wilder" than without the mod. But that could also just be my imagination
