Not much point to argue over personal preference... as long as I continue to have Bitwig to use, I am a happy camper!

There's a lot more to this than the way you paint it. First off are the networks based on Unix, or Windows Server? Microsoft are flatly notorious for making it ever so slightly more difficult to use other OS with their platforms. This goes the other way as well, everyone I know who works with Unix systems hates dealing with Windows in that environment, because they make it ever so slightly harder to deal with. The fact is people hate when they have to relearn basics after initially mastering a system, so people who start of learning to code on Windows hate dealing with Mac OS. Confirmation bias is a real thing, it's why I don't write off Windows for the times I've dealt with it and been annoyed.BONES wrote: Thu Dec 23, 2021 7:17 amAbsolute f**king bullshit. Everyone else in the universe can't be wrong, just so you can be right, and my experience where i work now is no different to the three other networks I worked at, nor at the dozen or more post-production houses where I've worked, nor at the three different colleges where I have taught (although if there was going to be anywhere the techs were useless, it is in tertiary education). Everywhere I have ever worked where there have been Macs, they have created more problems than the PCs I've worked on. Every. Single. Place.too many IT department types literally apply Windows fixes to Mac issues, and this seems like the case with your guys.
Yeah my bad but at 1.3 billion installations of Windows 10, that's 130,000 cases, slightly more than a couple hundred. So 130,000 is too small of a number to worry about, got it.It's actually one in 10,000 - 1% is 1-100, 0.1% is 1-1,000, 0.01% is 1-10,000.I can agree with that, but .01% of users is one in a thousand, so yeah a lot more than hundreds of users.![]()

And if you are excited about a virtual hardware recorder type DAW... great! That is why it is good to have lots of options for varied interests

Closest thing I have come across is Drambo on iOS.xalama qo wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2021 11:58 am I know there are a few virtual studio apps around these days, but none that have Monark level sound.
