I didn't follow new synths at all in 2021, not in the market, not a collector of software like that
If I did have the interest I would only respond to a poll posted here, and my answer would prob'ly still be Fish.
BTW, "Fish" is typically as popular an answer as any in these things, this is where you are, there's a kind of critical mass well reached already with opportunities for banter about synths.

To be fair to the OP, I tend to like when people talk about their own favorites.
Polls like these are popularity contests that don’t always reflect the best.
I don’t have a favorite to mention because I didn’t venture out to try all new synths released (and I doubt that most voting have either, making the poll pointless IMO).

Well, if I was wrong about the monetarization of the channel, then, I apologize. Still wonder about the motivation, especially about these opinion lists, but, what do I know of motivations these days. It's all Greek to me.

That's graceful of you, thanks. You can check for yourself if you like, there are no ads on the videos.chk071 wrote: Mon Dec 27, 2021 7:30 pm Well, if I was wrong about the monetarization of the channel, then, I apologize. I realize it's a cruel world but there doesn't have to be a nefarious motive behind everything. I make the odd video when I have time, and I enjoy making ranking lists. Many people enjoy checking such lists, and other people again like to voice their opinion by voting. It's supposed to be a win-win situation. It's a bitter old group here indeed if my posts deserve this reaction.
I make videos about synths, you can find my channel here:

Do people still make music?
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better?
