You are not a Reason user, or perhaps a disgruntled ex-user, so why does it offend you so that anyone might get some use value out of it, flaws, limits and all? One can indeed be aware of Reason's, or anything's, shortcomings and have some appreciation for what it does do well. And if there isn't anything in it for you, fine. And BTW Xg2, the only reason (no pun intended!!) why I never brought Reason is because it doesn't have an open format like FLS, Orion, & Project5.

In other words, I want to us FM7 and Triangle II within Reason. But since I can't, I'm keeping FLS.

Sorry to contradict you Tony, but some of us basically come here for constructive and informed discussion. Ben is quite right that diatribes against Reason - or for that matter FL - are tedious and a pointless waste of energy.

Titles of recent threads include:

"Reason 3.0...WTF??!"
"FL5 SUXXX"
"Just for fun ... the worst ____ ever!"

...and so on.

Basically some of us are now getting sick and tired of the inanity and puerile attitude that some KVR-ers have been displaying. Worse still - we're getting drawn in to it ourselves .

Let's face it, these threads can be amusing, but ultimately they are self-defeating because we all end up descending to the level of lowest common denominator (in this case the frankly absurd xg2)

KVR is a great forum which has the respect of many in the industry. At its best it is a brilliant source for news, comment, user reviews, and advice from "power users" when we lesser mortals need help. Developers are often all-too-willing to get involved in the chat and lend advice and support to those who need it.

Tossers like xg2 are dragging KVR down, and I hope there is a positive way for that to stop.

I'm a true fan of FLS. And believe me, the negative statements that people have made about Reason is nothing compare to most of the foolishness that has been aim at FLS (and that was before the release of FLS 5).

Nonetheless, everyone has a right to their opinions. And it a damn shame that some people can't respect other people's opinions.

I'm all in favor of these "tossers" to be treated like Ron Artest and be punish for the rest of the season!
