MWaveshaper display bug

If you switch MWaveshaper in to Asymetric view, the axis on the graph correctly change from dB to percent, but when you drag points and nodes around on the graph they still show as dB coordinates, it's a bit confusing, so the asymetric coordinate -40%, -20% (according to the axis) show in the graph as -21dB, -16dB. This is the same behaviour in the standalone version as well as in MXXX. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks
