Melda effects are not installed in specified location!

I just used the Melda installer to install the MFreeBunde and a couple of other effects and although I specified a custom location on drive D as the "destination directory" I ended up with all the data installed in the default location on drive C (C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction\). In the custom location I specified (on drive D) there are only two files: the uninstaller (setup.exe) and a setup.state file.

So WTH is this? Is it a bug? Why does the installer lets you specifies a custom path if it completely ignores that and installs all the data in the default location anyway ??? This is very annoying! I really don't want to waste 500MB of space on drive C for Melda effects as I already have very little free space on that drive.

These are data the plugins need to run and need to know where these are. If that bothers you, try removing that folder except for MTexturedStyles, but expect some stuff not to work anymore.

Then why do you offer the option to specify a "destination directory" in the installer if that destination is used only to put the uninstaller and another file and all the data (at least 500MB) is installed on the C drive anyway? I don't get it.

If that bothers you, try removing that folder except for MTexturedStyles, but expect some stuff not to work anymore.

Well, if some stuff will not work anymore then I don't see how removing that folder is a reasonable solution.
