If they're actually taking requests and since I'm not really afflicted by modulation madness my vote would go to something that I suppose flies in the face of the whole "KISS" concept of Hive 2 and that would be more of everything. More Oscs, layers, more Arp/Seq etc. Yea you can use use multiple instances blah blah heard it all before not listening any longer.

I love Hive 2 just the way it sits today so more of everything contained in a single instance in a single patch would be my wish if I had a magic wand.

I’d request a handful of pre/post filter effects who’s parameters can be modulated. Things like bit and rate crushing, tube distortion emulation, stuff like that. I’m always looking to rough things up a bit. I’d even be happy if they were just filter modes and could replace the filters. This way you wouldn’t even really have to change the overall layout.

I only want more slot to visualise the modulation signals. I think currently 4 can be seen....

The Izmo skin allows you to see all the mod matrix slots.

I don't remember the trick or if it can still be done but there was a way (a folder I think you could put patches in) and use MIDI program control change messages.

An FM module per main oscillator. A one knob unit for each.

I'd like it if when you ctrl-click (or right-click on windows) on a modulated parameter, there would be an option to bypass the modulation. I know you can turn modulation off in the mod matrix, but this would be convenient. It'd also be nice if you could assign parameters to XY pads this way as you can in Zebra. If there is some way to do this, then feel free to call me out.

I just bought the Metamorphium soundset and got very inspired by the already assigned knobs for 8 parameters - it's a great idea!

However, it only works with Hive's X/Y pad and not for MIDI CC's AFAIK?
It would be VERY useful if those 8 parameters could also (by choice) be assignable to any MIDI CC's (that could be setup globally like Control A/B).

I don't really enjoy to use the mouse for X/Y movement, instead I prefer hardware for control.
I like to use my physical MIDI Controller's X/Y pad - or simply the knobs and faders.

EDIT: But of course U-he already thought of this... :hug: .. It can be done already, just setup the XY's in the MIDI CC settings. :dog:

Hello Urs,
do you can add popup tooltips to your framework?
Like as Tone2 Electra2 or RPCX Predator3.

And add parameter to com.u-he.Hive.Preferences for enable/desable tooltips.
It will be fine if these hints can be edited as a parameter in the skin file.

I can show C code for this tooltips.
