Nice! Hope to see Bartek do some live-play expansion videos for Nexus.

After 10 years of flashy-3d graphic video demos, we could use something fresh. Likewise, a new change from the Tropical videos of sea turtles, jellyfish, and girls in bikini running in slow-mo.

Neat expansion!
(And the only reason I upgraded to N4.)

Didn't do anything for me I'm afraid Manuel. It seems more of the same - nice to have, sure, but nothing to justify the 100 bucks. And while Vintage Synths is lovely, I do have an awful lot of vintage synths.

It's dancing around the real problem. N4 needs either a dropped price upgrade, or one significant new feature, such as sep outs. Both seem unlikely - it's Mike's way or the highway.

Not a Nexus user since I have always had something against romplers. Even though I owned the Yamaha CS6R and the E-mu Xtreme Lead-1 back in the hadware days. But this one, and probably most of the other expansions, sounds soooo good!

I can't really justify a Nexus 4 purchase as I already have Avenger with 51 expansions + 11 "free to choose" expansions though

Would be nice to see some Nexus expansions coming to Avenger though :D

I love Bartek's demos! He sold me on the Nexus 4 EXPANSIONS (Rom 3 and the others in the Christmas demo), but not Nexus 4 itself. The asking price, the lack of certain features, and competing products offered with similar updates at much cheaper price (or free) are likely holding people back.

+1 on the outs. Would LOVE to have each layer have an out so I can use my DAW to apply my 3rd party effects per layer. This would be immensely useful for processing individual drum sounds separately in a drum kit or drum loop preset.

Come on Mike, please give us some more flexibility 8) I appreciate what was added to Nexus 4 but I think this feature could really turn things up! :tu:

He won't change a thing, like you say. He's definitely noticed the numbers and the feedback at this point, but I feel like he's one of those that would sooner see the place burn down than admit he's wrong. It's a shame because the talented sound designers will no doubt suffer financially (assuming they get a % per expansion sold).

As far as that marketing video goes, it's cemented my decision not to update.

They don't offer free lifetime updates, but free lifetime support exile! They banned me on February last year and I'm still banned. I think almost 1 year of prison should be enough? I absolutely not buy newer versions without support and a new version should also include a new support probation! :D

Why did they ban you? Curious.

It was absolutely no reason for lifetime exile. I'm a long time refx customer since Quadrasid and Vanguard. I was just stressed and pissed, because I worked on several commercial projects and Nexus 3 stopped working, because of its copy projection. The support guy seemed also stressed and was also from the beginning very rude and he also ignored my error description. Therefore I got angry and I told him I have a good lawyer. That was also rude from.me, but from a professional company I expect understanding for a stressed customer, who can't work, because of the product! And banning a user forever (!) from support is just
ridiculous! I have no way of contacting them since almost 1 year and I'm not alone! So, there's also no possibility to clarify that, what is wrong with them?
