Hi ! I'm still quite new to Waveform and sometimes I'm working on a project and at some point I would like to convert my current edit of that project to a new different project, maybe because I see I could evolve this edit on two directions for two different tracks. The point is that I can't see on the "Projects" tab any function to save/convert an edit as a completely different project. Is this possible ??

Why don’t you save your edit as a new edit in the same project?

Hi asprog. Of course I can do that, but I prefer to organize my projects. What happens if at certain point I'm working on an edit that suggestes me another theme/song/track ? is not possible to send it to a new project for using it as the starting point of something new ??

I've not tried but maybe: File->create an archive of this edit...
Then, in your new project, Import Material->Unpack an archive and add it to this project...

You can save whole or part of a project as a template, and you can load the template into a new project.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

How do you Import Material? the only options that I see available are Import audio or midi file, RADAR project or Mackie project. Is Import Material located someplace else or is this not in the free version? Thanks in advance for your help.

In the projects tab:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thank you for your help and insight here, I very much appreciate it. I did find and use the import material tab, but the more I worked with this, I realized the question I asked is not actually what I am trying to do. I am trying to find a way to import and edit into another edit. I want to bring a track/s, complete with tempo, time signature, markers, etc... into a new edit. I have found some success by simply copy and pasting, but I do need to still set tempo, time signature, and then realign the click track to the song.
What I am trying to do is build a song library for my worship team, where backing tracks and click and everthing is done once, then on a week to week basis I can build a set list in one edit that I can simply import the songs that are already complete into this set list. Trying to find a way to do this efficiently, I know it can be done in Ableton so just trying to find a way to do it in Waveform. Thanks again for your help, and may God bless you today

So the issue is different from the topic starter.
I'm sorry, English is not my native language, so I didn't understand well your problem, even if I think templates could partially solve your issue...
May I recommend you to start a new topic and explain clearly what you try to do, so other people could answer you
