Nice work!
So many great songs.

Now, re-listening after 6 years, I wish that the guy (drummer/producer), had treated the drum sounds. Especially the snare sounds pretty horrible, wrong frequencies up.

Drumming is OK, although in some songs he didn’t manage to nail the distinctive elements, e.g. in Day Tripper, distintive element is the tight bass drum - snare pattern starting in the intro after the tambourine).

Yeah the snare does stick out a bit.

Having just finished watching the Get Back documentary I'm looking/hearing
the Beatles in a new light!

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Or Les Beatles drumming (in French style).

I always wondered due to the times and attitudes toward rock and roll back then if the "a" was an intentional play :tu:

Yes. Also an hommage to The Crickets.

The connection to Buddy Holly’s band name is one candidate. Of several, Marlon Brando
motor cycle pack the ”Beetles” in the Wild One is the other one.
