Zebra 2 feature request: set v2.5 global

There are plenty of old banks that use 2.3 version and changing everytime to 2.5 is a bit of a chore when surfing thro hundreds of presets :)

Patches can vary in sound between 2.3 and 2.5 wildly in some cases, so this is not a good idea.

Why its not a good idea to have a choice to set a global ? :)

A choice, that means you can choose to impact the sound or not :) i know the risk and i want to have a choice to impact the sound, but if you dont want to, you can turn off the global option. That would be my idea for this option :)

These modes exist not merely for some subtle sound changes that crept in unnoticed. The exact details elude me, but afaik playing v2.3 patches in v2.5 mode can occasionally result in VERY extreme volume peaks. Ergo, no v2.5 global default setting.

Ofcourse it can. But im stumbled why such resistance if you would have a choice, what difference it would make to you?

Safety first. (Also that was a u-he employee if you weren't aware - so it's not going to happen.)

It could damage ears and speakers, so it's something we as a company need to avoid.

Understandably.

Adding then a global sound limiter might stop volume being too loud.

Anyways :-(
