The audio interface is good.
You're not crazy. Even professionally produced songs have this mistake and hit the radio with high frequencies the engineers couldn't hear.
Like the other person has suggested, it may be a samplerate issue for you.

So is my understanding correct that you no longer need an external Virus editor with the latest build?
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

I've seen the use of FPGA in this old gaming project called MiSTer where they are essentially using FPGAs to mimic the workings of many different vintage computers and consoles.

You can find out more about this here https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/wiki

Anyhow It uses both a FPGA and a ARM processor together and works really well. I wonder if in the future it could be ported to something like it?

That would be amazing..
ARM Cortex A9 dual-core CPU at 800MHz it is not enough powerful
Did you actually look at how Mister works ?
No, but I doubt that this CPU will handle above 108 MIPs in the test tool :o
FPGAs are reconfigurable chips that can be used to do hardware emulations of other chips or even circuits. They use them a lot for prototyping new chip designs.

Oh, thank you for this information, I was going crazy (and I don’t need this considering how I already am) searching for the right line over and over again ! :tu:

How does one get onto discord without an app?

Post

You open it in a webpage on a desktop computer and keep hitting "no app". Reddit is the same way.

but keep in mind:
it's beta and not all knobs are (correctly) assigned and working yet
(if i understand it correctly)
anyway, imho a far nicer experience

wishlist to the developer (numerouno?):

i'd like to see some sort of refernce which rom is currently loaded in the GUI
i sometimes change between B and C and would like to know which one is loaded...

unison detune is not working yet, is it?
at least i can't hear any difference...

patchbrowser ditto ?

in the future:
any chance that the GUI might also transmit (i/o) midi
speaking as in being also a midi editor for the hardware (think dexed, virtualCZ) ?

anyway:
super GUI imho! :tu:

if only those cpu spiekes/peaks would vanish
kind of ridiculous, that with 2.3% (as in reaper) i get cpu overloads on an i7

p.s.:
no problems on my son's ryzen7 superdupergamingpc...

Post

i7 should handle the emulator in the future.I have the same problems with the cpu spikes.
I hope they look at this.

corrected:
it is working :-)

Post

just tried it on a slower laptop i3:
no chance -> cpu-overload-crackling-festival
B or C both the same, even with a high buffer of 1024 in reaper

Post

Has anyone tried it on Linux yet? I'd be interested in the results. :-)
