It's not. It's two instances of MEqualizer. One processes the transients and one processes the tonal parts. You can open both equalizers at the same time to have visual feedback too.
thanks for clarifying this, the GUI gives a different impression. I will try it. However, it is clear that I am asking for a dedicated plugin with optimized workflow.
Can you describe / illustrate what you would like to see on the GUI? And what the optimised workflow would be? Please do not say have a look at SplitEQ, as I have never used it so know nothing about it.
AKJ wrote: Thu Jan 13, 2022 12:46 pm Actually, one could almost always say: just do it with MXXX. But did Reaktor kill all soft synth plugins? no! And MXXX is a nice and powerful tool, but it's no replacement for dedicated plugins. So please, if you are happy with that which is offered by MXXX: enjoy!
That configuration is just one possibility in MXXX. There are hundreds possible; the limit is one's imagination.

Edit: Never mind.

Actually, a very similar workflow/GUI as MDynamicEQ with the difference that the vertical handles would not be for dynamics threshold, but up would bring up the transient/attack amount (and at the same time down the sustain amount) and down would do the opposite (ie. bring up the sustain amount and bring down the attack amount). A right click on the node would open the editor with more detailed editing options like in MTransient (additional to the regular EQ band editing options, of course).

Words on a screen can be read a number of ways, and time is the lens you see through.

Upon reflection, and reading back with a fresh mind, I better understand your approach to this. There are things that still puzzle me, however I would like to apologise if I was, quite frankly, a bit of a dick in previous messages. Your suggestion is valid when approached from your perspective. My responses were immature at best.

With that in mind, can I make a suggestion. Instead of proposing the name to be MTransientEQ, instead perhaps MTurboTransient would be more suitable, and as well as using the frequency handles from MDynamicEQ, perhaps using a freeform curve from MSpectralDynamics or MFreeformEQ might allow for more accuracy and increased flexibility to help workflow?

Again, just a thought on a potential way to improve your (already valid) suggestion, nothing more :)

There is a transient EQ device in MXXX. Not sure if it will be useful to you, but worth a check

@smadger thanks for your apology, anyway, I did not take it personal at all :-)
@jmg8: history repeating ;-)
