Getting much better IMO! If you're taking requests ( ): please use dark text and features on the light background section. So the words "ColourCopy," the ducking speed, the color names (some are tough to read), etc. And I'd also recommend dropping the glow FX on the colour, LFO and Mix labels (glow on text = blurry). Try a dark snowflake on the light skin too. Might look good against the light background.

The snowflake is only bright when freeze is in effect :)

some details are still err. not sure about colour background labels

I like the colour name background labels. Will try putting this one to use.

i should stop :D

i did another darkgrey theme but went over on the kitsch. not sure if it fits ColourCopy tho.

different small knobs, a bit different overall layout. still playing with this, but you can use it anyway

some labels are invisible, but i'm not sure if i'm gonna wrap this one up either way

I do quite like the dark label backgrounds on very clear knob position indicators on the black one. I think those dark labels and background would look nice in the light skin, and the light skin would benefit from an easier to see Delay Time knob indicator. That said, I'm not asking you to actually make those changes...

I was using the light skin last night and realized the layout just kind of warps my brain and there's no great way to move stuff around in the existing layout in a better way. What I mean is this: the feedback knob is down at the bottom. It's big, which is good, but it's at the bottom. This makes my brain think "secondary feature." I kept wanting the ducking knob to be the feedback. But you can't just move the feedback knob there because the brightness, saturation, and color all impact feedback so it would make sense to move them too. But there's no room there for them there.

In my head, the top row from left to right it would go: Delay Time, tap position, Feedback (and related controls). Then the bottom row would be LFO, Ducking, Input/Output/Mix. But doing that would be a whole new GUI. Totally appreciate what you did here Ploki, so don't get discouraged. The layout just doesn't work with where my brain and mouse want things to be. It's not you, it's me!

That’s good feedback.
Tbh, ducking doesn’t make much sense top right, but feedback is so busy it would look wierd crammed top right. I need to think about it a little :)

I had to make it a tiny bit taller, but i think it could work.
need to make the script too

That layout would work much better for me.

it's a bit bigger but i guess it works, and makes more sense

It's funny that i always set out to make a "flat" looking skin and i never end up with one. :dog:

They come out nice though!

Are you still open to feedback? We're getting into the "little nitpicky type stuff because all the big stuff is done" phase! ;)

There's a Time: 0.10 ms label (above the big knob dead center) that doesn't do anything over here. Or, if it does, I can't figure out what it's doing or meant to be showing. No matter what preset I select or what I move, it shows 0.10ms.

I'm also not seeing the Note icons on the delay tap section top-left. I'm in sync mode, and they're just not showing up here.

The "Previous/Next" Preset arrows being on top of each other is throwing me off. I'd suggest the standard spots for those (like on the original skin). Even if that means splitting up save/open preset.

Interestingly, I can use this skin at 200%. I never get to do that with any skin! No idea what that means for 4k monitors, but on my 1080p monitor that's kind of neat. My fear though is that the GUI may be tiny on a 4k monitor. Would need someone else to try it out and weigh in on that though.

The glow effect on text and some icons just makes the fonts look blurry in a bad way IMO. Like the Amp/FB ducking target compared to the crisp text on the ducking speed. I'd say, try ditching the glow fx there. Same for the snow flake, the HQ, Undo/Redo icons, L/R tap indicators. Just looks blurry to me. It's perfectly fine for me on the knob indicators. Note: at 200% the glow isn't so bad, but it doesn't scale down well IMO.

Some of the labels are a little dark and small (Saturation, Colour, etc.). I think those would benefit from a lighter color and a slightly larger font size (at age 41 my eyes ain't what they used to be - can't imagine what they'll be in another 10 years). Nothing drastic, just a like 8-10pts lighter on the RGB scale and maybe 1 or 2 font points larger.

Would be cool if the ring indicators behind the dark knobs lit up. But that's also unnecessary and would just be because it might look cool.

I'd also suggest you move the Rev and Build # down a bit so it's closer to the bottom and away from the LFO Destination.

...hope that's taken as useful feedback and not some psycho on the internet criticizing you! It's really coming along nicely IMO!

Still open for feedback and that's great feedback! I think i can implement most of it

Not sure why indicators and time display doesn't work - it happens here if i open the plug on an audio track and no signal passes through so it's essentially disabled.
If it doesn't work at all, i'll need to drop a line to u-he support.

The preset arrows and browse/save layout was inherited from Nitro. You sure L/R is a better position?
Maybe if i orient the arrows up/down instead?

That's what it was. I just launched Reaper with my audio device closed to quickly check out the GUI. Now, with the audio device open, the note indicators appear and the time actually works. So disregard those two bits of "feedback" .

Yeah, I think up/down would do it!

I edited the LFO blinkers, they were a tad big for what they are :) And also needed to make space for cool new light-up knob indicators! :hihi:

Feedback ring now turns red when you go past 80 so you know you're going into build-up.

I changed the glow colors into black so it actually increased text contrast.

I might add a few value labels (not much, i quite like the clean no-fuss look of it)

I'll probably make another brighter scheme after this one is done

Forgot to fix the version at the bottom :dog:
Also, didn't fix the labels yet
