I've seen it in action...
Those are the places with the extra wide doors....
My gym sent me message saying: “Great job! keep the same way!” = it has been over 2 years I have been in the gym since the pandemic and I have been eating basically only pizza and ice creams… But yes, ok I will continue the same way
Well, D3 isn't from the 90s, and I, like many ppl don't find the osc section limiting or frustrating....its pretty straight forward really.... and it already has sync and fm (both as an osc and as a mod)kobal wrote: Mon Jan 17, 2022 3:16 pm main problem of dune is the osc section is so flaweded.. kinda like hive specially the first version.. i don t understand these limitation that make zero sense and are so limiting and frustating.
va fm wavetable should be just one section with possiblity of sync and fm it s the basic of even the first vas of the 90.
Unison is the actual limitation. Both Dune and Hive make this their flagship feature. They're even named after it. The primary purpose of these synths is to push wide unison oscillators through fat filters on a slim diet of efficient CPU consumption. The developers have been quite explicit about adding features, or leaving them out, based on their impact on the CPU budget. It's a deliberate design constraint. Other synths, like Pigments, make different tradeoffs. The users notice. It's fine. There's plenty of room in the softsynth market for both approaches.kobal wrote: Mon Jan 17, 2022 3:16 pm main problem of dune is the osc section is so flaweded.. kinda like hive specially the first version.. i don t understand these limitation that make zero sense and are so limiting and frustating.
they know better than me what sell or not and how much money they can get , as a sound designer it dosen t make any sense to have such limitation , cpu i don t know how it can be a problem in 2021 , i have a maybe 10 years old cpu that was at the top at that time, paid like 250 or 300E, i use 96khz and use synth like serum at 4x oversampling bazille massive X reaktor mpowersynth extreme settings ectSuper Piano Hater 64 wrote: Mon Jan 17, 2022 6:13 pmUnison is the actual limitation. Have you tried layering Pigments in Analog Lab? It works really well, particularly as you are not limited to Pigments for your second layer and can throw in an old transistor organ for instance underneath your poly-rhythmic granular sequence. It gives a lot more creative potential and is a lot easier to use than Dunes pre layered patches which though sound good out of the box are quite clunky to navigate and don't let you audition new sounds against each other instantly like you can with AL.CausticPuppy wrote: Sun Feb 13, 2022 1:49 pm
I think a lot of that has to do with Dune allowing more layers (up to 8!) and having good FX. One patch could take up your entire mix.
Right, using Analog Lab is a very quick way to get a two layer sound!tactile_coast wrote: Sun Feb 13, 2022 2:30 pmHave you tried layering Pigments in Analog Lab?
