BlueCat Patchwork Equivalent?

Hi all,

I'm an AU user who will probably have to go back to AAX for grad school.

I've been sure to assemble a workflow that's friendly to as many plugin formats as possible, using Melda, Plugin Alliance, Waves, and Metric Halo. However, dear Chris over at Airwindows' plugins (a god of DSP and philosophy of music, I deeply admire him, check him out) simply don't do AAX.

Before shelling out a hundred American smackaroos for Bluecat Patchwork, I'm assuming Melda has an equivalent feature I'm unaware of, which is always my default assumption before buying elsewhere.

I'd like to load AU plugins in AAX, but I suppose it'd be great to load them all interchangeably - AAX in AU, VST in AAX, ABC in 123, whatever.

Is a Melda product equipped to do this? I have MCompleteBundle.

If not, does anyone know of such plans? If not, shall I break loyalties and ahead with another maker?

You can't host third party plugins through Melda.

Take a look at Kushview Element, not sure what it supports but it's along the same lines as Patchwork, and $2 for a pre compiled version, or free if you do it yourself.
