Anybody else not able to assign all the modulation sources to the "Initial Phase" of a regular oscillator module in MSF? Or is this by design?

These are by design - if the source doesn't really make sense at the moment the "voice is being created", it is not available.

That's cool, was just a bit confused why random isn't available, but true random was.
