not all synths will have such a parameter, seeing as they get their note values from the incoming midi note data.
however, possible parameter labellings that may affect pitch are...
detune
transpose
octave (not really 'pitch' but kinda in an obvious way)
tune / tuning / fine / coarse

Somehow I still can´t right-click to lock dragging. I have refreshed plug-ins etc., seems to be the same version as before...

well i just redownloaded it and it worked fine. just in case however, i've renamed it to XYZControl2.dll, so download this, and delete the original from your plugin folder. This works fine here in T and eXT.. :s

Yes! Finally!
Thanks for the great personal support with this.
It became so much easier using the mousescroll now too.

I'm still having trouble getting it to alter pitch in my synths, oh dear..What would actually be the difference between hitting my MIDI keyboard which would play individual tones, and this XYZControl sending tone/pitch change data?
Oh had another idea for the control:
Make holding down ctrl or shift 'memorise' the location that the mouse is at. Then whenever you press ctrl or shift the dot will jump to that memorised location and whenever you release ctrl/shift it will jump back to the current mouse position? Quite useful to bounce back between the old location and the new one of the current mouse position?

Elaborating on the above idea, you could maybe change the speed of which the circle will dart back and forth from instant 'teleport' to slow crawl from one position to another. The circle would always go to the alternative location in the shortest route possible? Could do some interesting and precise slides that way.

just been playing around with this for a bit (as in USING it - crumbs, i never actually play with these things!
) and found a real neat perhaps obvious use for it.
i've just been playing around with it with my graphics tablet, and it's sweet
the fact that it's resizable means that you can set it to a comfortable range of movement for your particular pen/tablet, and you can also plonk your mouse on your lap (easier if you've got a wireless one like mine) and have a whole hand free to use the wheel without getting RSI!
any a'y'all with a tablet should give it a whirlz0rsz!

So when can we expect pressure sensitivity?
I'm getting a Graphire3 XL in couple of weeks for gfx work, will be interesting to try it with music as well
Thanks for making this, haydxn, cool tool!

It's really slick with a glidepad as well...haydxn wrote:just been playing around with this for a bit (as in USING it - crumbs, i never actually play with these things!) and found a real neat perhaps obvious use for it.

Well its really a long time ago in a far away galaxy but I still am in need of exact the functionality this XYZControl offers. It is not to be found anywhere and the links are dead and the author not reachable. Does anyone has this gem and would link to it? Help is appreciated...

Can't help you with the XYZControl but it sure would be cool if Waveform came with something like FL Studio has.

Controlla XYZ says it's "An Augmented Reality XYZ MIDI Controller that lets you control any 3 parameters in any DAW by moving your phone." The beta is free for a limited time.

I haven't used either but good luck on your search.
