You purposely disabled the import from mid in the demo version. Why?

To motivate you to buy Viper for this bonus feature that was added much later free of charge to existing customers. The Demo is there to try out how Viper works, if you like its sound/gui/usage. The demo perfectly demonstrates this.

The purpose of the demo is to demo the features. But you're limiting a non-saving feature. So I cannot determine if the feature functions to my satisfaction or not.

It's not free of charge to future customers but a feature they are paying for; You aren't just supporting existing customers but (potentially) finding new customers such as myself. Well maybe.

Hi Adam, I wanted to check out the new Viper skins on your site but the only image I saw there was somewhat obscured with them "back to back". (I'm using my phone so perhaps it's only showing a simplified site?)
Could you post new skin screenshots here please? Or are they all included in the demo download perhaps?
Thanks for your amazing efforts to bring classic digital hardware sounds into the box. The likeness is uncanny, both Virus and JP8k, you've captured all the right "stuff" !

I was really happy with Viper overall, and this is a pleasant surprise! Even if every patch doesn’t sound the same, they’re still good starting points for new sounds. This synth is amazing value!

The update is awesome…

I have tons of Virus midi sysex.

Next step will be to test the stability of the new version.

I will also start to compare the loaded presets with the identical ones in the DSP emulator.

And last but not least I will start to batch convert all the Viper soundbanks and Virus sysex into NKS presets (via a makro record tool).

Happy!

Duude awesome!!! Does anybody have the default virus ti patches in .mid format?

So far, not a single crash switching presets - not that it happened all the time, but the issue was definitely there.

Good Job! :tu:

You can find them in the documents folder of the Virus TI software.

Great update, I really enjoy the Snow banks.
Small remark - I understand people questioning the absence of the mid import in the demo, as their decision could be heavily based on that feature.
Nevertheless, great update. One of the best updates ever :)

I noticed that Virus preset names don't reflect the type of sounds, as Virus has categories in its preset browser.
Perhaps that could be one of things in future - to support Virus-type tags, and preset tagging in general ;)
(I thing tags could be incorporated with minimal changes to simple preset browser)

Thank you Adam!
