BazilleCM crashes Reaper (It's the processor not supporting SSE4.2)

Hi,
I just installed the updated BazilleCM 1.0.1 on my Computer (Win10 21H1 build 19043.1466, AMD Phenom II X4 925). It reproducibly crashes Reaper v6.46 (VST2 same as VST3, I tried both).
Steps to reproduce:
-Open Reaper with a blank project
-Insert virtual instrument on new track
-choose BazilleCM
-press key on MIDI-keyboard
-Reaper crashes
Changing patches and turning knobs don't seem to cause problems, but as soon as I press a key on my MIDI-keyboard, the mouse curser gets a spinning blue circle and Reaper closes after a second.
BazilleCM 1.0.0 works without problems. Reinstalling it over 1.0.1 reinstates it in working order.
The other updated freebies (ZebraCM, Triple Cheese, Zebralette, Podolski, Protoverb) work flawlessly on my machine, so I assume it meets the SSE4.2 criterion.
Edit: This assumption is wrong. The other freebies appearently don't rely on SSE4.2-specific instructions.
Anything else I might be doing wrong?
Cheers,
Sebastian

Bug report sent. It seems more likely to be machine-related than host-related, as it also crashes Cakewalk and LMMS on my machine.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling?SeBaer wrote: Sat Jan 29, 2022 11:11 am Bug report sent. It seems more likely to be machine-related than host-related, as it also crashes Cakewalk and LMMS on my machine.

I did several times. Support said the outdated processor is to blame, and they are surprised the other updated synths work on my machine. So bad luck for me, I guess...

Did they say why the processor was considered out of date. Is there some specific system requirement?

To elaborate a little on what tony10000 pointed out: OP has an AMD Deneb family CPU from 2009. AMD processors didn't fully support SSE4.2 until the Bulldozer family, which launched in 2011.DarkStar wrote: Sat Jan 29, 2022 5:20 pm ^^^^

As unfortunate as it is, that I can't use the most recent BazilleCM, there's still the good news, that ZebraCM, Triple Cheese, Zebralette, Podolski and Protoverb work on older machines.
But you really have to praise the u-he support team for it's responsiveness and friendlyness, even towards 'freeloaders', who only run their freeware. I mean, it's freaking weekend!

BTW, I am using an off-lease Dell Optiplex 4th Gen i5 (Haswell). Upgraded it to 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. Total cost was less than $300 and it runs u-he stuff and other plugins quite well.SeBaer wrote: Sat Jan 29, 2022 7:27 pm As unfortunate as it is, that I can't use the most recent BazilleCM, there's still the good news, that ZebraCM, Triple Cheese, Zebralette, Podolski and Protoverb work on older machines.
