DrivenByMoss: Bitwig extension for many hardware controllers (version 26.6.1)

I know what is the issue on the lights on the fire. The new colors from a jpeg create colors that will not show up on the fire. light yellows, light greys etc. Thats what is happening now. Any way to address that?

I did not dare to test this so far. I hate handling colors
Will add it to my todo list to check if this is solvable.

HI, I installed as per the video. I'm using Maschine mk3 in Bitwig 4.1.2.

When i load a synth or kits the pads are not triggering.

Any help would be appreciated.

I Already know but ... still was thinking of and just want THE expert in Bitwig midi script making to have his point of view .
Is it possible to have any VST screen mirroring on the Akai Force screen ? Like the P2D for ableton and...push ? Like "i have the vst on the screen of the Akai Force and i can control all my parameters with the akai knobs and see them on the screen in real time"...

I bought a Novation Launchpad X. I updated the firmware (online, use chromium), updated DrivenByMoss, and it works perfectly, thank you!

Until you implement everything yourself (there is a Facebook group discussing hacking the MPC/Force OS), no.

Hi all,

I am pleased to report that as of Bitwig Studio 4.1.5 (and DBM 15.3.0 currently for me) the long-time problem I have observed with Novation Launchpad Pro Mk3 not returning to it's native mode upon quiting Bitwig has been solved. Yay!!

I did not notice any announcement in the Bitwig release notes about this fix, but nevertheless, the fix is in.

My thanks to Bitwig devs and to Jürgen, who doubtlessly communicated behind the scenes to see that this was done!

I am a super noob and have no experience with DAWs. I just got myself Bitwig Studio 4.1.2 and the Novation Launchpad Pro mk3 as my choice of controller after watchin Moßgrabers videos.
Unfortunately i am doing something wrong as no function (according to Moßs PDF) works as it should and not even all pads light up as in his video. Ill show you what i have done step by step though i followed all infos on his Site 1-1) I use a windows 10 Laptop:
Step1: DL from Site the latest version (4.1.0+ - "DrivenByMoss 15.4.0")
Step2: extract the "DrivenByMoss.bwextension"-File into ..\BitwigStudio\Extensions
Step3: Open up Bitwig and config controller settings. Here I chose as MIDI input/output the "LPProMK3 MIDI" but havent changed anything under the other options like Play & Sequence, Transport, Session, etc..

I have an input, i can play notes on my instruments but thats all. I cant change tracks, cant play, cant use the sequencer, cant change the tempo (bpm). So I wonder what have i been missing? According to Moss' Video it should be working properly.

I would very much appreciate some feedback so I can get started with my amateur daw skills:P

I guess you missed the step "Update Firmware of the Launchpad"

The one question I have is about the response time of the controllers, things like the sequencers (which is incredible to have) are quite slow to react. There is a lag between the button press and the button lighting up.

I suppose that this lag comes from Bitwig API, I'm just wondering if you had any conversations with the Bitwig Devs about this and if is something they might try to fix in the future.

Yes, the sequencer API is not ideal. This is known by the devs but I do not know if a new one has currently any priorities. Write to support
