it's worth emailing them to give them feedback. you likely won't get a response but at least they'll know there is some demand for their work. don't hold your breath though. their plan is to come out w/new versions for each plug in in the same way that ohmboyz Infinity is the successor to OhmBoyz delay.

so, i think they are done messing w/the old code.. sadly.. since they're back and looking good in Monterey. i shared my thoughts w/them more than once but it's a different company now and they don't have the full team around that made the original plug ins.

How did you manage to install ohmboyz on Monterey? I get an error message about the installer, it doesn't work (stop sign).
i migrated from my intel laptop and they're all there working fine in rosetta. the apple migration assistant brought it all over.

but i think you can install.. just have to launch system preferences then security/privacy and choose "install/open anyways" after you get the error message. that's what i've done w/other plug ins..

correct, it worked for me (along with some other unsigned plugins such) but you still get the crappy preset handling and tiny tiny GUIs. maybe it's my fault but I just felt too convoluted to use them in Monterey.
too bad, because I really liked Ohm dudes back in the day.

So to confirm they have been installed on M1 Macs and open through Rosetta but the GUI is just smaller and there's some preset installing issue? Do the default presets work? I want to get Ohmboyz and Ohmicide working and I'm choosing to do a clean install.

Content of the VST folder into Library/Audio/

Should be Library/Audio/Plugins/Components/Plugins/VST
No, the correct location for VSTs is:

VST2: Library/Audio/Plugins/VST
VST3: Library/Audio/Plugins/VST3

Hopefully no one wrecked their VST folder by following your direction.

In case anyone needs to know, the plugins are working on Monterey on my Intel Mac. I just used the Catalina installers they made a while ago.

Very happy I can continue using these plugins a while longer!
