It's a generic 10% discount code from Waves, so you can use it anytime. :tu: but I don't know if it works with another discount code in the same order

YNY23 works with other discount codes. :tu:

But if you already used it recently, the cart might say that you cannot use it again. I got this message once, so thought to mention.

I agree it should be added that you can place plugins anywhere you want on the chain, but this workaround works for me https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/rack-spacer/
Thanks, I visited the Boz website recently for the free offerings, never saw this listed.
Shhh... it's a secret. :D
once you hear the difference between putting a compressor on the third slot vs the first one, your mixing will never be the same
:hihi:
I don't think it's really about that -at least for me, and yes, I get the irony/sarcasm- as much as it is about having some plugins lined up on the same spot on different tracks, so you can A/B or turn on/off those at the same time on a number of different tracks. If any of those tracks require something else on top, then the slots end up not aligned, making it not possible to do these kind of comparisons.
April 1st release, it sounds awesome. Thanks for the heads up.
I love how Boz recently did a "Friday the 13th" sale, for a whole week I think, and it wasn't even Friday the 13th. Friday was the 14th. He said in the email "Plus, Friday the 13th comes on a Thursday this month, which means your luck is already changing for the better."

I appreciate that guy :hihi:

Rack Spacer looks like a gamechanger btw

NEOLD BIG AL for $15 with the special offer and PA monthly voucher. Sounds impressive and a steal for this price. Does anyone have and recommend it? What are its alternatives - just in case I have one or two already and can avoid this.

I use it all the time on vocals. I like how it is quick to dial a sound in and then take the Mix down to 0% and bring it back in parallel. Adds some nice "dirt". For some reason I haven't tried it on other sources apart from live horn parts using the same technique. Maybe I should on the next mix!

Like most here, I have many saturators like Decapitator, Black Box HG-2 MS, Vertigo VSM3, Radiator, and more... Yes, I have and recommend Big Al. To me, like Soundtoys Radiator it's easy to make sound great and is useful on many things.

What are its alternatives?
Doesn't matter for $15 just buy it. If you can't find a use for it it's on you, not the plugin. Saturators, exciters, etc can mess up a track fast but there are some that I can dial up quickly and easily that I like what it's doing and Big AL is one of them.

Nice to know. It seems that this is a versatile saturator. As per demo video it sounds good on acoustic as well as electronic/synth instruments.

Yes, was in the same boat, so wanted to hear/read this. I mostly use Decapitator, and I only have HG-2 as the saturation plugin from PA and I like it, but I think this sounds more useful.

True. Great to know this.

Thanks guys. Bought NEOLD BIG AL. Too good to pass up for this price.

I think you should be able to use a $75 voucher if you don't use the discount code since then the Blackbox sells for exactly $99. Not that it matters to me because I'm stuck with $25 vouchers (which now are not even personal anymore) and don't think I will ever reach the $50 tier since I think I already own most of the PA stuff I want.

Would also love to get a spare $50 or $75 voucher on my DM if anyone isn't planning on using them since the Blackbox MS is one of the only PA plugins left that I want to get. :D

Yeah bro, I know, but I want to get Lindell De-Esser also. So if you have a $75 Voucher, I'll be grateful 😁

I'll be waiting for a magical soul who wants to exchange the vouchers until the day end jajaj :)
