It's not that heavy on my machine and I am perfectly fine with it.

Hi Adam,
Fantastic job on this, closest thing I have gotten to the Virus so job well done.
Could you help me with something or anyone else for that matter, the Delay section in Viper, can you please break down the Ratio patterns and what the equivalent is ?
For example Ping Pong 4:3, Pattern 3+4. Are these related to dotted delays on one side ?
I am not quite sure, I would love if you could put the delay section out as a VST as I love these delays and it would be so much easier.
Thanks and I hope I explained it well.

Unfortunately I dont know if that would be possible. Reading the .mid file contents was hard enough but its still easier than creating a .mid file. I dont know how to convert the Viper patches which are completely different back into the Virus format. If one day I figure it out it could be a possibilityBarbarossa wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 4:11 am Viper has an import function now: would it be possible to EXPORT to the Virus format?
Changing the sounds in Viper and then exporting it to the hw, would be even more comfortable.
To be honest I am not sure which are dotted, I just did it like they did in the Virus. Here is a quote from the Virus C Manual:GAM84 wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 9:21 am Could you help me with something or anyone else for that matter, the Delay section in Viper, can you please break down the Ratio patterns and what the equivalent is ?

DELAY X:Y Ping-pong delay. Although the delay times on the left and right sides are different, they have a fixed relationship to one another. For example, 2:1 means that the delay time of the left side of the delay signal is twice as long as that of the right side. The absolute delay time refers to the longer delay time of the two sides.
PATTERN X+Y The two numbers represent sixteenth note increments and indicate the delay for the left and right side on the basis of sixteenth notes.

Hi Adam, happy Viper owner here
Really enjoying TI import feature and I think, you did such a great job...little tweaking here and there and voilà...here comes THE legendary Virus sound!
Just a question...are you considering to implement more features to Viper (from Virus TI) in the near future? Would be great to add more (parameters) destinations in mod matrix (Virus 120+ vs. Viper 80), wavetable PWM, maybe (if you´ll figuere out how
) formant and granular table (synthesis). Anyway...thanx for an amazing product

I am not sure how to make many of those oscillator modes you mentioned, but if one day I figure it out, I will of course have them in the update.jojkobojko wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 11:27 am Just a question...are you considering to implement more features to Viper (from Virus TI) in the near future? In Vipers main menu, select "Import .mid Bank" and you can load your Virus snow soundbank if its in .mid file format.Touch The Universe wrote: Sat Feb 05, 2022 11:30 am TI Import feature, you kidding me! Ha!!

The import feature works brilliantly. I'm so happy because I haven't been able to open up my snow lately. It sounds pretty much perfect on most pads. It sounds as close as possible without the grain and formant osc. This is most excellent. I still need to tweak a lot of the patches, but I should be able to convert and release the bank in a day or two. Which is quite unexpected as I just released a bank yesterday, haha. Awesome
