If you had to stick to one DAW, which one would it be?

well cubase looked interesting to me but because of that whole i lock thingy I never looked that way ever again and I wont ever consider something that uses an ilock. Never have and never will. I am pretty clear on that issue so if ever a company wants to do business with me they need to not use a dongle because its the kiss of death for them when they do so.

cubase doesnt use ilok.

I assume he meant a dongle since indeed they don't use ilok but e-licenser, which the next version of Cubase won't have.

tbh, im ok with dongle/ilok
what really irks me is people calling a host, a daw.
the daw implies the whole, not just the software, not much of a workstation if it's just the 1s and 0s.
