I like to inverse the reference in the smart options as a new feature,is it possible.

Can do it already, just turn the Range down to a minus percentage, or maybe I am not understanding you?

^^ Yes, just use a negative RANGE value, it inverts whatever smartOps is trying to do.

Let me explain,
-Reference from file A
-Set reference as learned input
-Reference from same file A inverse
- Set range for taste

why don't you just use pink noise as a reference, instead. It'd be more or less the same effect, I think.

Is it possible to configure Nova to do, at least partially, what Wavesfactory Trackspacer does?
The Trackspacer plugin features a 32 band EQ that reacts to the incoming sidechain signal. It analyses the spectrum of the sidechain and applies a reversed EQ curve to another track. As if by magic, Trackspacer creates space for the primary track by cutting the exact frequencies on other tracks.

Yeah, I mean, at its absolute loosest implementation, just set the thing to the "6-band dyn" preset and pump in the other signal as an external sidechain

Hey Fabien,FabienTDR wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2020 3:49 pm ^^ Yes, just use a negative RANGE value, it inverts whatever smartOps is trying to do.
1) use external sidechain to input the signal from another channel. But Smart OPs cannot use the external sidechain to learn the signal characteristics.
next attempt:
2) Use Smart Ops, adding another instance of Nova GE on the external channel, than in the Smart Ops menu under Input I want to choose the input from the external instance of Nova GE to learn the signal. This also doesn't seem to work, since Nova GE doesn't learn the input from the external instance, but rather the direct input from the channel ("internal").
Is there no way to automatically learn the input from an external channel in realtime to subtract that input on the active instance of TDR Nova GE?
It's fairly easy to set it up manually without Smart OPs using external sidechain, but I hoped that Smart OPs might give more accurate results.

SmartOps do all that, But they won't modulate the EQ curve in realtime.Stirner wrote: Wed May 06, 2020 11:03 am Is it possible to configure Nova to do, at least partially, what Wavesfactory Trackspacer does?

It's really just a static preset producer.
For track spacing, simply sidechain and use 4-6 bands of compression (or expansion of the target is more dynamic). That's likely what trackspacer does as well: Sidechain controlling a MB compressor.
IMHO tracks needing "place" is not the greatest idea. We aren't stacking Apples, what really counts is harmony, balanced contrasts and musical creativity. If things start to clash when mixed, it's the ingredients themselves that don't match well musically, not the lack of spice.
I'm under the impression that all these weakly defined "auto-movers" are great at sophisticatedly turning every meal into a boring stew, at least one that perfectly fits the pot.
