Does it let you apply the envelopes to volume? Video said they can apply to almost any parameter, so I guess that includes gain?

OTOH I wonder if a plugin dedicated to volume/gain automation, like Gatekeeper, would have better ready-made volume envelopes / generally be better at it....

Found the answer to my main question: yes. "Output Gain
When locked, this acts as an overall level control. However when split, you can modulate the overall output level. For example, you could dip the level initially, then let it rise, to emulate the “pumping” effect that a lot of EDM tracks obtain by using sidechaining and trance gate-type amplitude changes (e.g., Eric Prydz “Call on Me”)."

When you log in to APD and click on "Add to cart" nothing happens.
And when you afterwards click on the cart symbol (top of the page on the right) to get to the check out page you get the error message:

"You cannot add "Cyclone Retwisted by Sample Logic" to the cart because the product is out of stock"

Deal was removed. Most likely Sample Logic complained and they pulled it.

Yeah - and in addition, APD base price for the product is $ 349,99, whereas SL real base price is $ 299,99.

In this way, even the high APD rewards saldo doesn’t necessarely give as low as the SL sale price $ 49,99.

$349.99 is the full price at APD. The Base Price is $34.99, which is $15 cheaper than the current Sample Logic sale price. I'm sure Sample Logic didn't want them stepping on their current sale, so asked them to pull the product until the sale is over.

ADP price $ 349,99 is fully artificial, its $ 50 more than the SL price.
To get the ADP offer price $ 34,99 the buyer needs reward points for $ 300. The correct sum for needed full rewards was $ 265.
ADP milks their clients by putting extra $ 50 buck to the starting price from which they calculate the rewards. Bastards.

UVI VV4 is out - yay! I’m being an offered a 199 upgrade price. Need to check how many of the new synths I already own. Anybody seeing a better update price and has uvi published the upgrade pricing based on what’s already owned?

€49, but that's because I own VV3 plus 4 of the new additions. So it's basically €49 for Bit Zone, Hybrid 6000, Prime 8+ and Program 24 which is still decent. I just wish they didn't only give you until the 21st Feb to use the voucher, like all these things I plead with these companies to give everyone a month so they can plan and budget, but I guess they know their demographic and how we get GAS. Too long to think and we may not bite next time.

For simple volume automation Duck is probably better, arguably Stutter Edit comes into it's own in combination with the other effects (FWIW I find the curve editing a bit confusing, Cableguys is simpler to use, but then doesn't offer the same set of effects).

Just as FYI, my upgrade price is $299. I own SYNTH ANTHOLOGY 3/2, MAYHEM OF LOOPS, and DIGITAL SYNSATIONS. Looks like only Digital Synsations is what probably counts here, as SA3 is not included in VV4 and Mayhem of Loops is surprisingly discontinued.

I am not fully sure, but as I understand, the previous individual products would remain in your account. But either way, you won't be able to sell them (as they were used to upgrade) without selling VV4 first since UVI manually approves the iLok license transfers and won't allow such things to happen. Also, there's a 90-day restriction on iLok transfer after registration. If the products do get absorbed, your account will look neater.

If you own Vintage Vault 3, Emulation II+, Program 24, PX Memories, PX SunBox, and Super-7, your upgrade price to Vintage Vault 4 is going to be $0 during the promotion period. Vintage Vault 4 add 3 new instruments that were released at the same time as Vintage Vault 4 on February 9: Bit Zone ($79), Hybrid 6000($79), and Prime 8+($39). The other 5 individual instruments above were released in 2021.
