I'm now comparing to the Virus B. This comparison seems like there are more differences in sound than vs the Ti2. So viper, to me, sounded more like the Ti2, but not always quite like the B.

I'd say most of the leads or short sounding presets are usually about a perfect match, but the deep pads are usually about 90-95% there. The B just has a bit extra low end and a more smooth/rich sound.

I originally bought the B to pair with the Ti2 because of talk that it sounded richer/darker than the Ti2. Which I'd agree with, especially comparing to Viper right now.

Overall, if matching the volume correctly, the patches sound nearly identical, but it really does vary between presets. I've only found a handful that were really off. But viper never sounded bad per say. Just a bit different in those cases.

I'll probably still keep the B for now just for fun. But so far I've been using Viper a ton and being incredibly surprised when comparing presets. Like, "holy sh*t! It can do THAT sound??!"

I think the best part about viper though is that you can run multiple instances, switch through presets easily, and just runs solid. To me that's such an appreciated feature. Rather than have to record/edit each individual virus part (or re-recording, etc).

Interesting, I always thought B had the same engine as the TI except the extras (wavetables, hypersaw and others), and the sound difference between the TI and B/C was only due to DACs.

When comparing the TI to Viper or the B, did you use the analog audio outputs or audio over USB?

The skin is nice, though I’m wondering why zippishare site opens calendar on my ipad
Perhaps I’m missing something in my life and they wanna drastically improve it by putting some important event in the calendar. What a nice guys!

Zippyshare might work differently in different countries and browsers so it can be confusing. My suggestion is to put it on sendspace in a zip, or maybe upload the actual .png skin file on imgur or other image hosting platform and people can save it from there, although I havent tried that yet, and I dont know if it scales down the original image or changes its quality.
