Yes, that's what I wrote "even though Bassdude or Fender Bassman is used by guitarists - the name tells you it was developed for bass. It works great on bass and guitar.jens wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 2:19 pmBut with the Fender Bassman (which Bassdude emulates) it's actually the other way around - as its name suggests, it (the first models) was originally designed to be and marketed as a bass-amp. But then it soon became really popular with guitar-players.DCrown wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 5:33 pm Even though Bassdude is mostly used

I just demo'd the various bass amps yesterday while trying to pick one and my favorite for big punchy bass with bass guitar and also for doing some cool stuff to bass synths was the GK 800RB plugin. I wanted it as a lower CPU alternative to my favorite bass processors, and I think it will do very nicely in that role.

That's nice to know.Plugintester wrote: Thu Feb 10, 2022 7:29 pm BLACKICE BETA GAMMA BASS AMPLIFIER by Nembrini is nice, as well
I find it a bit pricey for an amp sim at $137, an hardware alternative might be another option., even an amp in a pedal.
Most VST plugins go on sale, $29.99 tops, unless it's something highly rated., then $50 tops.

can not remember the exact price any more, though. Frankly speaking I also use some guitar amp sims for bass or a real amp. Amplitube gives you a big choice
