Hi,
I'm thoroughly enjoying diving into to rabbit hole that is MDrummer - but I've got a couple of questions regarding the routing - and I'm hoping that someone can enlighten me...
1. I don't seem to be able to route the crash cymbals or the tambourine - everything else seems to route to other channels ok, but changing the OUT channel in the mixer or the Drumset editor on these tracks has no effect.
2. Everything seems to go through OUT 1(Bass) as well as its routed channel (I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that I've missed to change this behaviour - but I can't for the life of me find it!)
I have included a screen capture to illustrate. You can see that I have routed the outputs of the individual tracks to the relevant outs, and everything other than the crashes and the tambourine shows up there (and also goes through OUT1). But the crashes and the tambourine only appear in OUT1. I then change the routing for a ride and a crash - and it shows that the ride is happy to go to OUT7, whereas the crash still only shows in OUT1.
I'm sure I've just missed something really obvious, and I'd really appreciate a steer in the right direction!
I'm using:
MDrummer16out 15.02rc2
Reaper 6.46
MacbookPro 2015
MacOS 10.14.6

Hi!
1. That's because there are no close-mikes in cymbals. If you want to route these to dedicated outputs, you must go to the multisampler or each cymbal and enable "mix OH and room". This will send these mikes to the normal output of the drum instead of the global OH/Room busses, which is normal for mixing acoustic drums.
2. I don't understand this one I'm afraid.
Anyways the point is, that each multisampled drum/cymbal may produce 4 tracks - it's main output (close mic) optinally mixed with rooms and ohs, and then the individual rooms and ohs. Once these get mixed together between drums, there's no way back, so once something is send to say global OH, you cannot really "unmix" it into some dedicated output.
