Just ordered a Boredbrain Music Patchulator v2

I haven’t heard back about the batch of Minibays. Those won’t ship until April anyways.

I saw some cheaper mini patch bays but this looks flexible enough.

imrae wrote: Mon Feb 14, 2022 5:47 pm My pedalboard is running off one of those: HX Effects, Kraken V4 tube preamp and a bunch of dirt pedals. The DC7 is expensive but small, clean and powerful. (The high-power stuff is using two parallel outputs, while a GigRig isolator distributes one of the outputs to four dirt pedals.)
I dont need more for now, ill probably get the 8 outlet expander sooner or later. i also have the DC 8 for multiple boards. :tu:
I honestly didn’t realize the Cioks 8 was an expander for the 7. I don’t need it now either (cioks 7, cioks 4 & cioks/eventide powermax) but good to know.

It’s scary seeing it listed on Amazon because next to the frequently bought together suggestion for the 7, 8 and 4 is the price… $547. Yeah, please don’t remind me that it costs as much as a noise maker or hardware effect.

But they have been all solid good/flexible buys.
see!!! it's like utility stuff, it's not sexy!!!
but it makes the sexy stuff, sexier. (like lingerie i guess) but you can't just order a power supply, you have to order a pedal too, or the delivery is boring
(unless you are pekbro and you have regular parcelage :hihi: )
Heh, well I do like to get packages in the mail. :)

I’m trying to create a flexible setup to make it all play nice.

So according to vurt, I’m on a lingerie shopping spree!

Well ok G&L Bluesboy it is, I made a low offer on this and it was accepted. $1k less than the Suhr I was interested in. So I can still buy more pedals as well

In the end I didn't think the Suhr would be overly worth the extra money once I got used to it as an everyday guitar. Not to mention I just plain didn't want to pay that much.

No stainless frets, but it was custom ordered by the shop with a hard case and locking tuners.
Only the one MFD pickup that I wanted, but it should be pretty versatile in any event. Sheesh,
was a tough choice after all is said and done.

The Headstock is frost black actually, hard to see in the other image.

Damn, thats gorgeous. I don’t normally like the sparkly pearl fingerpick guard but it looks perfect on this. Nice one.

I was thinking 2022 would be the year of the Tele for me but I think its gonna be 2023. So for now I’ll just admire this one!

Very nice, hoping to pick one up around the next Black Friday.

Are you safe?

I find my Patchulators to be very handy. Nice that they can be used with balanced gear (or stereo, with some insert cables). I just wish the connections were normalled, when no cables are connected.

I just sent payment for something that's been in my sights for quite a long time. Can't wait to share images when it arrives.
